Systems Administrator

Kinetic Xyber is seeking a Systems Administrator to support the configuration, maintenance, and availability of Windows and Linux systems across mission-focused technology environments. In this role, you will manage identity and access, virtualization platforms, patching, and system monitoring to ensure secure, reliable, and consistently available systems. You will work closely with engineers and technical teams to troubleshoot issues, maintain system configurations, and support operational readiness across training, range, and enterprise environments. This position suits a detail-oriented systems professional who takes pride in keeping complex environments stable, secure, and mission-ready. • Administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems across mission and enterprise environments
• Manage identity and access controls, user accounts, and system permissions
• Support virtualization platforms and related infrastructure components
• Apply system patches, updates, and configuration changes to maintain security and stability
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability, responding to issues as they arise
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and configuration issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and administrative procedures
• Support operational availability of systems within training, range, and mission environments

Required:
• Demonstrated experience administering Windows and/or Linux systems
• Experience with identity and access management and system security practices
• Experience with system patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple systems and priorities

Preferred:
• Experience with virtualization platforms and enterprise infrastructure
• Familiarity with mission, training, or range technology environments
• Relevant certifications in systems administration or related technical disciplines
